David's Story
Retired- Examinations Manager, Banking Division - California Department of Business Oversight. Bank Regulator for 35 years and Married 28 years. We reside in Billings Montana. The "Then" photo is me high-jumping in 1977; In 1977 I was Channel League Champion with a leap clearing a bar set at 6 foot 4 3/4 inches. I went on to a personal best in the high-jump of 6 foot 9 1/4 inches at a track meet competing for Cal. State University- Chico in 1980. I Still love track and field but only as a spectator these days. Our dog Aloha, a miniature poodle, is quite a leaper as well - she jumps through a hoop and can perform various other tricks. artifacts relating to banking, commerce, early Hollywood celebrities,, WW1 and life in general in the early 20th century, I have collected many books on the history of just about everything. My wife and I were married in small town in Montana near where her family resides on a cattle ranch. Upon retirement on 10/4/18 we moved from California to Billings MT. My life experiences since meeting my spouse also include herding cattle via motorcycle, cattle branding and vaccination in springtime and summer visits, as well as having experienced the extreme cold of Montana winter weather. Life goes by so fast, it is hard to believe more than 40 years have passed since high school days. Best wishes to all of you my classmates for good health; longevity, peace, love and prosperity.
