Cherie's Story
After working at Charlotte Motor Speedway for 13 years, I left Concord in 1996 to assist in the organization of Texas Motor Speedway. I left TMS in 1999 after meeting and marrying my dearest friend, Ron Rodenburgh. I joined his commercial landscape/irrigation company in 1999 as comptroller, but stayed involved with Texas Motor Speedway on the board of trustees for the Speedway Children's Charities - Texas Chapter. In 2010, Ron and I retired from the company he created in 1978.

layhouse on Lake Granbury and the Brazos River. Downsizing made it possible for us to enjoy our favorite pasttimes - beach, fishing and scuba diving among other things! The plan is to be able to do a lot ...or all... of.them while we are still young enough to enjoy it!
My only biological child transferred from NC State to UT- Arlington at that same time I transferred to Texas in 1996. That made the move to Texas complete! Then when Ron and I married, I gained 4 additional grown children. Together we have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
