Spike's Story
My life growing up was tough, no father and mother didn't work. We moved around alot I went to 18 different schools, 3 high schools and one of them twice- went into the Navy after my Junior year and got my GED overseas in Japan. I've been around the world while in the Navy and did way more partying then should be humanly possible, I made some great acheivments while in the Navy - Sailor of the Month, Sailor of the Quarter, Nominated Sailor of the Year, also qualifications above my rank. Coast and Gulf Coast doing Ship overhauls. When I came back to the States I found my now wife in Houston, Tx. I married my wife almost 29 years ago - in December we will have been together for 30years. I have 3 wonderful daughters Elizabeth, Samantha, and Stephanie. I have 5 perfect Grandkids 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters and all good son-in-laws, Jeremiah-Liz's husband, Anthony - Sams husband, and Jason- Stephs husband.
I live in La Porte, I am the Facilities Supervisor for Blue Chip Casino, I spent 11years in the Navy. My wife works at the Empress Casino in Joliet as Cage Supervisor. I moved back into Indiana January 1991.
