Life After graduating from St.Joseph's School in Long Beach, California back in 1965, my family and I moved to St.Louis, Mo. In St.Louis I lived in the Hazelwood area and I attended St.Thomas Aquinas and graduated in 1969. Always the travelers my family and I left St.Louis in '69 and headed back to the West, and ended up in Phoenix, Arizona. I attended ASU, Grand Canyon University, Glendale College, until I finally ended up at Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, Arizona. I received a Bachelor's and Master's degree from NAU and I have taught middle school, high school, and college for thirty years. I started a financial services business writing 403 b tax shelters for teachers about ten years ago. I've been married to my wife, Kathryn Marquez for thirty-eight years and we have two children. James (18),just graduated from Brophy College Prep. and is on his way to NAU this year. Victoria (16) is a senior at Xavier College Prep this year. Earlier in our lives my wife and I had two other children, who are deceased. Marquez, my boy, died in a horseback accident when he was six, and Nikki, my daughter died of aplastic anemia when she was four.
