Teddi's Story
My partner and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary this year. We have 2 little girls, 9 and 3, who we adopted from China. Too bad for them that our relationship isn't legalized.
I'm a stay-at-home mom because of a permanent disability. Before retiring, I was a professional musician, then worked for 25 years with the developmentally disabled. My partner is a psychologist. We live at the bottom of Pikes Peak in a beautiful little village, Manitou Springs.

oncordia. I'm now an apathetic agnostic. If there is a god, I'm not interested. I'm a flaming liberal and happy that it's not a crime any more. I keep all my opinions to myself when visiting Colorado Springs, home of the Religious Right and the military industrial complex. Thank goodness Manitou is more supportive.
My life is very good, quiet, peaceful, and relaxed. It may not be what I envisioned when I was young, but in most ways, better. I never thought about having kids until I actually had them, but they sure are cool.
