Stacey's Story
I am a married mom of three (although I have had four). Maybe this will help explain things.....
The LORD has blessed this mom by the birth of four,
Sometimes I wish that I could have a few more.
But I am completely satisfied with all that I have got,
I feel like I was blessed more than most, I'd say a lot.
The first born was Christina and she is my only girl,
She is always complaining that her hair won't curl.
Some say that she is the spitting image of her mother,
It was 2 years and 2 months later and she got her first brother.
Now, comes the first boy and Justin is his name,
Giving birth to him, I thought I'd go insane.
Because he was a lot bigger than my first,
After seeing his beautiful face, into tears I did burst.
The next baby was born in a room full of love,
Both sets of parents knew he was a gift from above.
You see, he was adopted at birth by a dear, close friend,
The pain of not having a baby had finally come to an end.
Then all of a sudden here comes Cody, my last son,
His smile is so much brighter than the blazing sun.
There's never a morning he doesn't have a smile on his face,
I want him to grow and mature at his own pace.
I love each and every one in a...Expand for more
different and special way,
I love to sit and watch them as they read, watch TV, and play.
They all have grown up and are becoming young teens,
I hope they all never give up and follow their dreams.
I have been with my husband since my Jr year in high school.
We have two grandkids at this time (4-18-08) and expecting two grandsons (one in Aug and the other in Sep.
*I am a proud NANNIE of 7 (only ONE girl so far) and another coming in March of 2019. I am a City of Malakoff Volunteer Firefighter. I also hold an Associate's Degree in Medical Billing and Coding and a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management. I am planning on getting my EMT certification soon to go with all my FEMA certifications. Mike and I are still happily married and looking forward to the next chapter in our lives. However, I have lost both of my parents during the last 8 years. As well as an adopted Mom, an adopted sister and an adopted nephew. Adopted because my best friend's parents claimed me as their daughter when both my parents passed. And my adopted Dad still does.. I may be running out of ,y blood family but I have acquired so much more from my adopted family, and now, my fire family.
