Stacey's Story
When I got married in 1991 we have lived the first six years in Riverside Ontario, Chantal 19 and Korey 16 where born there. In 1995 we than moved to TJ for a while we still have a house there, I also live in San Diego, we go back and forth from TJ, to San Diego to help take care of my husband Jose's mom and dad. Life doesn't go the way you plan my big surprise was my beautful son Kenneth in Sept 2001!! he is now 10 year's old. I work for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development, in San Diego.I love my job but when I go to work I have to have my Coffee,coffee,and my coffee to be able to wake up and deal with the day to day job!! I have a cat, 2 dogs, fish. And I just enjoy my life because life is too short.
To blow off any steam or stress I like to read a good book by my fav author's ANN RULE YOU ROCK!! Or make a blanket or two, Kick back and have movie nite's with the kids make a big bed on the floor and sleep there, it's fun!! I also go to a quiet place and think things out.
I think my obsession in life is raising my kids to be the best that they can be! Find their happiness in life and just go for it be happy! My kids are the reason I am here, I know I need to guide them the right way,I do not want my kids to fail in life! I do not think any parent would want that for there kids, but if one should fail I will be their to pick them up! Let him/her know they can do it , keep going until you reach your goal , you will get there! And that is what I would do if one fails, no one was there for me, I had to find my own way back. NOT MY KIDS!!I AM there 100%!!
What I learned from having a husband and kids you grow up a lot faster,I don't want to be that party animal I was at 14,15,16, years old, You realize your babies need you, depend on you everyday of your life and that changes a person at least me anyways. You live for the kids you give birth to. I am really different, I look at life a lot different now than before.
I was never really wild in school, I was a loner type, Only when it came to the weekends I was a party type of kid, with my middle sister and her friends. one I can trust mostly my middle sis, my sis and I are best friends, We have been their for each other growing up, and that hasn't changed any. we are still their for each other through thick and thin! And one of my close friends at work Jennifer. I would want my old friends to remember me as a person that was always there for them, when ever they needed to talk they always came to me for advice, what should they do and not do type of stuff, I had friends tell me you are so sweet don't change, that's how I want to be remembered.I was a okay even if I had my own Issues growing up, with my own family that was really hard to deal with!!I never let it get me down!!I am still trying to understand my crazy childhood, but that is another issue!!
My husband is my Hero, he's the one that helped me grow up and SEE life in a different way,I met my husband at 19 years old he was 23 years old at the time he just made me see things in a different light since he was a little older than me. How to love my family like I should forget the issues from the past move on, leave everything in the past, see our future together. He helped me become the way I AM TODAY. When we first started dating he had his hands full, with me, and some issues, he stuck by me every step of the way!! what man would do that?? I really believe He was sent to me from god, I believe he is my angel from the higher power above, because I feel if I did not have him or my kids I would not be here today, and that is the truth, So my husband is my hero!!! And he will be my hero until the day I die
In 10 years, I hope to be have my own business. I'm going to get there by working hard and saving money. I would love to have a nail place, that would be pretty cool, have a friend cut hair too why not? ( I tend to dream semi big)
And my biggest wish is I HOPE my kids grow up happy, and have all their dreams and hopes come true for them!! And way, way, way in the future I would love to have some grandchildren to make my Golden Years Complete.. Then I could die happy, complete, and fulfulled knowing I did the best I could for my family whom I LOVE WITH ALL I HAVE INSIDE OF ME!!!!!!!!!
