Stacey's Story
Wow you guys I can't believe we have been out of HS for 20 years! I went to PPCC and married Mike Dieck in 1992. We were divorced in 1998. I think everybody knew I had Cystic Fibrosis. I had a double lung transplant on 12-12-1995 and I am doing pretty darn good! In 2000 my kidneys failed though, and I was put on dialysis for 4 years. I received a kidney transplant on 6-9-2004!!!! So, in fall of 2005 I went back to college at PPCC and finally finished my associates degree in Criminal Justice (Management/Investigations). Since my health has been up and down I do not have a full time job, but I volunteer at the CS...Expand for more
PD in the Homicide Investigations Unit. If you remember Pete Quick-he's a detective there!!
Anyway, in my last class of college I did an internship with El Paso County Sheriff's Department. I liked it so much I became a volunteer there too in the Jail. :) It's very interesting! For money- I sell items on ebay and make crafts etc. I recently met someone and he lives in D.C. We went on a cruise in February. I may be able to coerce him to come to the reunion...? LOL We'll see... :)
