Stacie's Story
Hello Everyone,
Who am I now? I am wife to John Birschbach who I met almost 30 years ago. We got married 24 years ago. Career-wise I went to UW-Oshkosh School of Nursing and attained a BSN (bachelors in nursing) in 1988. I worked as an RN at a small community hospital in Plymouth, WI for about 7 years, then the attached nursing home for 10 years, and was a nursing supervisor for the Aurora Sheboygan Clinic in Sheboygan, WI. in charge of Surgery, Urology, ENT, Allergy, Plastic Surgery, and Ophthalmology/Optometry (5 years), but have now become a patient facilitator (past 3 years). I help patients find doctors that meet their health care needs along with other duties such as policy and procedure and care management for ASC.. I love the people I work with. on my husband's side and 2 beautiful niece's on my side... my brother Pat's girls. He graduated in 1985. I love to visit my parents who have retired to Door County. I love to scrapbook and journal when I get the time. I am on facebook and twitter. I love music old and new. I love to meet new friends and I would love to see what the old friend are up to. Love animals--we had a pet, Charlie, a cocker spaniel, for 15 1/2 years. He was a good loyal friend and we miss him. Now we have Kaylie, a 5 year old black lab female. What a handful she is! We love to go camping and take Kaylie down by the water where she can work on her retrieving. The summer of 2014 we are planning a two week trip to Alaska (land and cruise) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, We are happy and feel very blessed with our lives together :).
