Stacy's Story
Well, for starters... I started out as a young mom (if you couldn't tell by the 17 year old son I have), I married a guy that I just thought was THE man. Of course, I was young and dumb! I was married for nearly 9 years to a control freak. I did gain two wonderful children though. I later discovered that he was doing a lot of drugs and he also chose to not work for the last year and a half of our marriage.
I ended up leaving him because he wouldn't stop the drugs, let alone try to help support our family. Any how, after I had left, I lived on my own for about 3 years along with my children. A lot had happened during that time, but it's too long.
On Friday the 13th of June (during a full moon), I met my soul mate... Jason. Jason is a widower who had lost his first wife to kidney failure. He too had been married for about 12 years before losing his wife. They weren't ever able to have children due to her having diabetes and other health problems.
We were engaged 10 days after we had met (yeah, I know... that was fast!), but our love for each other hasn't changed a bit. We were married 2 months later. We have had two children together and with all our children together, we're one big, happy family! ...Expand for more
Jason took in Zakkary and Kayla as if they were his own. They call him Dad and even look up to him as if he was their own flesh and blood.
Zakkary and Kayla don't really see, nor hear from their bilogical father. So Jason is really the only father they have.
Yes, if you've noticed in my photo's, I went country! Of all the things... I did... I became country! I still love a lot of my old rock and roll we grew up to... but I live for my country! I no longer live in Murray, I have moved to Hooper, Utah which is about 5 miles west of Roy (near Ogden). I love it out here because it's so much quieter, tons of courteous farmers and people around here. I love being able to go for a walk and pet the horses along our way.
I was quite the wild child in Junior High and High school, but I've grown up A LOT! I miss a lot of my old friends, but I can't remember much that happened or what a lot of my friends and I did, nor a lot of my friends. I'll admit... I have seizures and the medication I was on caused me to have a lot of memory loss. So please forgive me if I don't remember you very well, but I'm making the best of it.
I'm really looking forward to meeting some old classmates and keeping in touch more.
