Stacy's Story

Life Well, let's see. After high school I started working at Spiece where I stayed for about 3 years. I started taking classes at IBC and graduated after a year with a office specialist degree. If only I would have known then that all that really meant was that I was qualified to sit behind a desk and answer phones, I would have went to school for nursing back then, which is what I'm doing now. I got married to the wrong guy in 1996 and had two beautiful babies during our 6 year marriage. I finally managed to get out of that relationship and got the chance for a fresh start. I met a wonderful man and got the opportunity to go back to school to get my degree for nursing. After two years together, we...Expand for more
got married in June 2006. We had a small garden wedding with our close family and friends attending. My children walked me down the isle and stood up with us during the ceremony. It was truley a wonderful day. I finished up with my nursing degree in July 2008 and passed my boards in September so I am now a licensed nurse in the state of Indiana. It's been a long three years of schooling but it is definatley going to pay off. I am now working in a pain center for a anestesiologist in Kokomo and I love it. My husband and I are planning on building a new home within the next year which I cannot wait to do. All is good in my life and I would definatley say that my life has taken a turn for the better.
