Stan's Story
Well after I left East I went to WSU and I sold mens clothes at Towne East and worked at Phillips 66 on Kellogg and Rock road while going to college. Then I went to work for my grandpa and dad for ten years. They owned Central Equipment Inc. on south West street It was a Stihl Chainsaw distributorship and we had the territories of Kansas and Nebraska. We had over 150 Stihl chainsaw dealers that we serviced.. I did alot of traveling during those years to help build the business. We had three secretaries at that time and one of them was named Lori. ll live there today. We also lived in Shawnee, and Overland Park Kansas.. I got my real estate license and I built some house in west Shawnee when we first moved up to the Kansas City area. I then went to work for the Simmons Mattress company for ten years in Shawnee, Kansas. We had two children a girl named Alaina and a boy named Jeremy. I now have a year old grandson named Bentlee. Alaina is going to Emporia State to be a Spanish teacher and Jeremy is in the Marines. I now own my own Nuisance Wildlife Removal company called Action Animnal Control and have been doing that for 7 years. I really like to work for myself..I hope everyone from our class is doing good.
