Stan's Story

Hi there (I'm writing this in July 2012) - I doubt that anyone will read this - Whoever you are I wish you the best. Me?? I'm OK. Actually I'm good. I 've got some bruises from ripstik, skateboard, and roller blades - I enjoy but I'm really not very good - just like basketball - I enjoy playing but I have never been a good player. But ... Life is good ... My wife Guin is so very good to me to put up with me all these years ... Now that I'm retired I'm still very busy ... taking care of my Mom and the family and the cars and leaking roofs and plumbing repairs and worrying about melting ice caps that will flood my home or perhaps my great great grandchildren's home and worrying about the deterioration of our economy and country and and and and and Shall I digress?? No need to....Expand for more
God is good. I see him daily in the trees in the sky in sad faces as well as in happy faces. I pray a good bit. But not as much as I should. I need it. We all do. //// Come with me now - Let's pray to our Lord - (however you may conceive him/her to be) // Lord we come to you - we seek you for comfort, for peace, and for love. We pray and thank you for our lives and your wonderful blessings and pray that we may be a blessing to others. Help us to love one another and to strive to help each other. Help us to love the unloving and to be kind to the unkind and encouraging to all. Thank you Lord. And thank you - thank you - thank you. Amen. Love always, peace be with you, and lots of joy Joy JOY!!! May you feel God's blessings, Stanley (or Stan is OK) (Class of 1964)
