Stan's Story

Barbara Scharn and I married in 1969 upon her graduation from TN Tech. I graduated in 1970 from TN Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering and a commission in the US Army Corp of Engineers. I was in the Army of 42 months, 37 of which were stationed in Germany. Upon leaving Germany and the Army we lived in Franklin, TN for 2.5 years before moving to Birmingham, AL. ol for many years but now works with me along with our oldest son Ryan. We have small consulting engineering firm that specializes in municipal engineering (water, wastewater, natural gas, drainage, roads ect). We travel for business and leisure extensively and like to snowmobile. I do a lot of backpacking while Barbara goes on cruises with the wives. Come to see us if you are ever in the B'ham area, we have lots of room.
