Stan's Story
Life
I was born in Newton KS July 30 1941. Moved to Reedley CA in 48'. Went to Grand View and Windsor grade schools. Immanual Academy my freshman year. Then Reedley H.S., graduating in 1959. Attended Reedley College one year. Attended Bethel College 1960-64. B.A. degrees in Psychology and Music. Completed Master of Music Ed at Wichita State in 1970. Taught music two years at Partridge KS, two years at Udall KS , and eight years at Winfield KS. Entered professional photography in 1976 in Pratt KS. Stan Reimer Photography is a full service studio with five employees. I earned the Master of Photography degree in 1984 and Master Photograper Craftsman in 1995. Was president of the Kansas Prof Photographers Assoc. in 1984. Served 12 years on the board of the Heart of America PPA. Have been on the council of the Professional Photographers of America for 19 years.
I live in Pratt with my wife Marsha. I have three adopted children Cameron (34), Jonathan (33), and Julie (29). Marsha has a daughter Stephanie and a son Spencer. My hobby is fine art photography. I'm active in the Methodist Church and Rotary.

I'm planning on attending my 50 year reunion at Reedley in October.
School
Attended Bunker Hill my first grade-a one room school at rural Canton Ks. Elementary school at Grand View, Kings River Elementary, and Windsor in California. Freshman year at Immanual Academy. Then three years at Reedley High School.
College
Attended Reedley Community College 59-60. Attended Bethel College (KS) 60-64. Earned BA's in Psychology and Music Education. Minored in Philosophy and Church Music. Starting Quarterback for three years. Earned Master of Music Ed from Wichita State University in 1970
Workplace
After teaching public school music for 12 years (Partridge, Udall, and Winfield), I formed Stan Reimer Photography in Pratt Kansas. I am the only photographer in the business but we have five to six employees. See reimerphotog.com for all the details. It includes samples of my work, services and my bio. Became a Certfified Professional Photographer (CPP) in 1984, Master Photographers in 1985, and Master Photographer Craftsman in 1995. I served on the Council of the Professional Photographers of America for 19 years.
