Stan's Story
Stan is from Memphis, Tennessee. Stan's schools include pine Shadows Elementary, Spring Woods Jr. High, Spring Woods High School. Stan later attended The University of Texas at Austin (Petroleum Engineering, Psychology, Computer Science) , Houston Community College (Computer Programming) , University of Houston, Santa Fe Workshops, Texas School of Photography . Stan worked at Texas Department Of Transportation.

which we showed at various street festivals in the area and I do custom stained glass work. I enjoy rockhounding, especially for gems and minerals and have a gem collection. Newest hobby is metal detecting. . I'm a musician, playing soprano, alto and tenor sax for fifty some-odd years now, guitar, singer/songwriter lately playing with the Watts Family Band doing old country and gospel music, dabble on keyboards and drums, soon to start lessons on violin. I also write poetry and have four novels in progress .....slow progress ..... I've been restoring our 1895 home in Smithville for about thirteen years now and still have plenty left (had to sell and cut losses 2018). I'm designing a castle that we plan to build in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas (they wouldn’t let me build it …so … lot for sale!). Then in my spare time ......oh yeah, choir at First Presbyterian Church in Smithville Band: Gettin’ On Track, playing sax, 1 CD released “Get On the Jesus Train” , Choir First United Methodist Church, church treasurer, A member of the Chamber of Commerce in Smithville also. Updates: Moved to Hot Springs Village 2019 …Bettie died 2/17/2021 …Shot best ever 87 at Coronado Golf Course 2021 One of my songs, If I Die Tomorrow, scored a top ten finish at the International Singer Songwriter Association Competition 2022 Ciao for now !". 🤟🏼
