Stanley Gresham Feb 08 2011 | General Missing July 2001 Stanley passed away after a long battle with complications of diabetes. His funeral visitation was more of a party than a wake. He would have liked that. Surrounded by the many friends he had made over the years filled 3 rooms at Mayes Ward. I am sure he was looking down and smiling as the place filled with people of the various loves and interests that had involved himself in through his 51 years. Fishing, hunting, boating, racing, rodeoing, 4wheeling, anything and everything that sounded like fun. Life to Stanley was one big party. In his last days he told me that he had lived a good life, done many wonderful things and had a great time doing them. His only regret was not getting to do some of them again. He is survived by two fabulous sons, Hal and Jake, both Sprayberry graduates. They are his true legacy. He was never more proud of any other accomplishment as he was those two boys who have grown and lived their lives in a manner that did and still does leave a tribute to a father that they loved and left them too soon.
