Stanley Miller:  

As most know who attended our 25th Reunion, I joined the Navy in 1961 after a year at Arlington State (yeh, yeh .....I know, It's UT at Arlington, but it's still the Rebels to me). Anyhow, I was commissioned an officer after 11 years as a Hospital Corpsman (Medic) and retired in 1991 as a Commander in the Medical Service Corps. Since it was just before my 50th birthday, I've been able to pretty much do what I like in retirement. I married a wonderful Oregonian almost 27 years ago and of course we live in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, which was called the "Garden of Eden" by the pioneers on the Oregon Trail who struggled to get here (my fingers have just about healed from being dragged here myself).
