My biggest crush - my fiance', Richard Saunders. No teacher inspired me. I would not do it over again as I disliked high school very much. I really have no special memories of high school other than the times I skipped school and went to fun places. I graduated mid-term 1959 without any fanfare or farewells. Went back to visit once and that was pleasant to see friends. I went to work the week after I graduated so my world changed dramatically. First job was with Prudential Insurance Co., Wilshire Blvd., Miracle Mile, next to the LaBrea Tar Pits. I worked for the V.P. of the contract department as his secretary. I did maintain good skills through high school that enabled me to get good jobs. Eventually I worked for Walker Realtors, Colorado Gas CO in Colo. Spgs. er jobs. Married first time 12 1/2 years. Now married for 37 years and have 3 boys, 3 girls, 2 step-sons, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grand-daughters. We have had a fast, fun fruitful life. The highlights were our motorcylce years in the lower 48 and our dog mushing years here in AK. We are tightly bonded to the mushing circle and my hubby volunteers monitoring races with the HAM operators. I am a member of the Aurora Dog Mushing Club, Big Lake Aurora Lions Club Dog Mushing Club, Willow Dog Mushing Club and the Iditarod Sled Dog Assoc. I also work on saving abused animals having had my own "Wolves of Bear Meadow" haven for sled dogs/huskies/wolfdogs/wolves in jeopardy. I worked with many wolfdogs and wolves and we shipped animals around the world to suitable people - one a forest ranger in Norway. We are currently remodeling our home, which we built ourselves on our six acres.
