Stephanie's Story

Life To whoever looks at this, I hope you are doing well. Since I left Massachusetts and moved to Florida, a lot has happened. The positive highlights are that I got married, have two amazing boys, born in 1996 and 1999, and have been very fortunate to stay in touch with some of my closest friends. I have only been back to Mass twice, but I had a great time each visit. I miss it there so much! If I could, I would move back in a second, but my husband is from here, and at this point I seriously doubt that my husband and children could take the cold. I went to college to become an accountant, but felt that it would be too boring. I worked as a banker for a few years, dealing in new accounts, loans, and investments. I now work for a financial company that offers just about all areas of financial planning and protection. I haven't done many exciting things like travel abroad, but hope to in the next few years. I am by no means wealthy, but I am not doing too bad. My husband and I are currently working on having a house built "in the country" where my mother was born and moved us down to in 1992 bef...Expand for more
ore I moved back to Mass. at 16. My husband's family lives there too. It will be a longer drive to work, but I am sick of raising my boys in a tourist city where there is nothing to do other than tourist activities that are overpriced or playing on the black top of our cul-de-sac. Most of the people here are young military people, tourists or transients, so it will be refreshing to have some land for them to run around on like I did when I was a kid. We have about 1.5 acres in a subdivision that holds a lake and a few small ponds, so I hope to get a horse...most little girls' dream (I never outgrew it). Overall, I can't complain about too much. If anyone has seen Napolean Dynomite, that was a stupid, stupid movie, but I love it!! When I saw it with my husband, we immediately started to recant memories from our high school days and I came to this site to look up some of the people that I had so much fun with when I was younger. I miss so many people up there. It would be great to keep in touch with the people that I lost touch with, or even just to touch base and say hi. Hope to hear from you!
