Life I left Phoenix the day after Graduation. Moved to Salt Lake for awhile, then Idaho for school, back to Phoenix for about 6 months, then to Wyoming for 6 months. I moved back to Salt Lake where I met my husband. Two months after we got married he left for basic training for the Air Force. After basic we spent the next 10 1/2 years stationed in Vegas where our 3 three boys were born. While there I worked a variety of jobs (florist, financial aid for a couple of trade schools, Preschool teacher). Our next stop was Hill AFB, Ut. where I worked as substitute teacher for the next three years. During that time my husband spent a year in Korea. Then on to Paradise (Hawaii) for 3 years. Again I was working in Education (teacher's aide in Special Ed classroom). We were in Hawaii when 9-11 happened. Talk about being cut off from the rest of the country!! No planes = no mail for awhile! We are now in Spokane, Wa, just bought a house(finally) and are getting ready to retire. At present I am managing the Florist shop on the base.
