Although some people from high school have still stayed good friends through my "change" I understand that a good many of you consider me either a joke or some sort of religious abomination. That's okay; I forgive you. Small minds tend to think that way and it was small minds that triggered all those gay and lesbian teens to commit suicide. I know because I got pretty close to it myself "way back when". Does anyone remember that one person at Satellite (I can't even remember his name now) who was transgender and was open about it? He graduated about 1970 and all of the kids tortured him endlessly. I wanted to make friends with him so badly but I knew if I said a word I'd be in for the same treatment so I was a coward and kept my mouth shut.
