Stephanie's Story

Life i was born in wash, dc, and grew up there and in mount dora, fla. in 1974, i moved to aspen to ski for one year and stayed -- i fell in love with colorado and moved from aspen to the denver area two years later. i began working for the colorado film commission as a student intern in 1978. i was subsequently hired, had a fabulous fun career there (marketing the state for location filming, working with crews when shooting here, and helping to build a strong indigenous film industry). i retired as film commissioner in sept 2004. i have lots of freedom now to travel and enjoy my family and friends -- especially my 28 year old daughter alyson, a real treasure. ...Expand for more
