Hi! Back in '63 when we moved to Richmond Beach, I transferred from Roosevelt HS (another football arch enemy!) as a sophomore. My favorite subjects were French V, German II, and art. Saying hi to kids in the halls was easy, but I didn't get to know many because I was pitifully shy back then. Compliments on my big smile and shiny hair made their way to me, but little did anyone know there was a personality lurking under the surface - hahaha! What an awkward age for a late bloomer! Jeanne Johnson befriended me, dragged me along to become a founding member of the Pacific NW's only official Beatles Fan Club, and the fun began! We saw a lot of outrageous concerts, stayed out of trouble, and did charity work for Peggy Dillman at the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Seattle. After dropping out of the UW to take a job Downtown, I married a Roosevelt boy. We shared ten years together, and were blessed with the best daughter and son possible.
