I've had a few small accomplishments in life. I managed a restaurant for quite a few years, and I'm also a certified massage therapist (though I don't currently practice). I've hiked mountains carrying only the bare necessities and living off the land for a few weeks, and have even had the opportunity to study under an artist while creating beautiful paintings.
These days, I'm fairly "settled" ...leading a clean and quiet life. I know, like and love many people in my life. Yet as an introvert, my best friend is a parrot named Alec. Aside from my time spent with him and my family…I read a lot, listen to podcasts, knit sometimes and study Civil War history (visiting battlegrounds when I can).
I fell in love with the beauty of the South years ago, and long to move there someday (when I earn enough money or win the lottery that I never play).".
