Life
My Spouse
I met my spouse, Glenn Maddy, at Ohio University in 1979.
We were married in Gambier, on the campus of Kenyon College, on June 27, 1987.
My Kids
Alexander Christian Langley-Maddy was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 20, 1992. Alex leaves Friday for his freshman year at Xavier University. Going to be an adjustment for all of us! He's going to love it!
Zachary Townsend Langley-Maddy was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 8, 1994. Zach is a sophomore this year at Marion Catholic. He had a great summer of travel baseball and has been gearing up for basketball season where he hopes to see much varsity playing time.
My Job
I am currently the Director of Service and Support Administration for a developmental disabilities program...Expand for more
. I supervise the Community Services Department where I am responsible for monitoring waivers for residential services, and supervising 8 staff. We provide services to individuals with disabilities who either live with parents, on their own, or with another individual with a disability.
I am also a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, which means that I do carseat checkups! I check to see that child safety seats are installed correctly and that they have not been recalled for defects. I have been doing this for the last 14 years. I also administer the Ohio Buckles Buckeyes carseat program for Marion County. I have been doing this for the past 4 years. I hold monthly carseat classes and distribute free carseats to eligible clients.
