Stephanie's Story
Life
I attended Bradley University in Peoria for a BS in Marketing. I worked in Chicago for a few years, then in Oak Brook for a few years, finding myself drawn to databases and IT. Then I met my soulmate and was engaged in 103 days. I moved to south central Illinois and eventually got a job in Champaign for a credit card company in their IT department. old it in 2009. I went back to work in 2008. First, with a video game company as a project manager. Now I work for a friend's company as "shipping coordinator" but most of my time is spent doing database stuff and custom programming/reports. I quit again for a few years to support my son who was struggling with school. I've been back to work full-time for over three years now for the local hospital, Carle, where I am a Business Intelligence Developer.
