I went to Clarion University of PA and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Education, with Library Certification, in 1994. I also completed my Masters's Degree in Library Science at Clarion University. I graduated with my Master's Degree in 1996.

n elementary school librarian and taught library skills. In April 1997, I moved to Houston, TX and began working with the Harris County Public Library as a Reference Librarian. In January 2001, I became the manager of one our branches. I've been a with Harris County Public Library for 11 1/2 years.
