Stephen's Story
1968 - Thrown out of George Washington U. Drafted into the military (Navy)..
1969 - 1st tour in Vietnam and bought my first Harley.
1971 - Took my first cross-country motorcycle trip.
1972 - 2nd tour in Vietnam.
1975 - Returned to Union after the service, scorned by most of the kids I grew up with (not all).
1975 - Returned to college on VA bill.
1977 - Married to Union class of 69 Debbie Soell.
1978 - 1st son, David.
1980 - Graduated from Rutgers College (with high honors).
1980 - Began work in Engineering in semi-conductor industry.
1982 - 2nd son, Joshua.
1984 - 1st daughter. Rebekah.
1985 - Became Mfg Manager.
1988 - Changed industries. Plant Manager in truck parts mfg. industry.
1992 - Promoted to General Manager.
1998 - SAP Project manager for North American implementation.
1999 - Vice President of Business Practices and Technology
2001 - David graduated from Rutgers College.
2004 - Joshua graduated from U. of M...Expand for more

2006 - Rebekah left Northwestern U. as a senior to pursue other interests.
2012 - Global SAP re-implementation completed.
2014 - Retired.as Sr. VP.
During my last 15 years of work, I was frequently traveling around the world; Asia, Europe and South America. I lived in Germany for about 2 years, Brasil for about 8 months, and several different states during that time.
None of my children have married. So, no grandkids...yet. RIght now I'm trying to marry off my younger son. He's a Corporate Treasurer, Sub-3 hour marathoner, power-lifter and a vegan (where did I fail).
Over the years I've owned dozens of Harleys. I usually have two running, so I never get caught without. Every year I go somewhere different in the U.S. with a group of friends. I started the group in the midwest some years ago. Most of the guys I ride with are much younger than me, so they're always looking out for me. It's kind of nice.
