Stephen's Story
Married Marlene (Marny) Olauson, Class of 1964 in 1965. We moved to Florida in 1977 after starting and eventually selling the Lake of the Ozarks Boat Brokerage. Used to visit Florida during the winter, when no one was even looking at boats to buy and finally moved here. Have been here for 38 years now.
Worked in the management consulting business in mainly manufacturing until 1993, when we started our own consulting and software company practicing primarily in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Developed the world's first electronic batch record system for that industry. Maintained operations in Canada, Ireland, England, Switzerland, Puerto Rica and the US. Sold DMI (Decision Management International) in 2001 and retired.

ng the hot summer months and go North to cooler climates. Last year we made a trip to Alaska and return via the Alaskan Hightway, some 14,000 miles. Two years previously, we purchase a trawler in Michigan and ran the boat through Canadian waters, down the Trent-Severn Waterway, Oswego and Erie Canals and down the ICW (Intercoastal Waterway) to our home in Punta Gorda, FL. A trip of some 3800 miles that took 7 months. We are both licensed Captains.
My most important accomplishment was to have found and married Marny. I have Susie Old to thank for that as she set us up as blind dates. (IT was Marny that was blind, just kidding). We have one son, one grandson and two step-granddaughters,all living within 15 miles of us.
We plan on continuing to travel this summer in both the motor home and boat. We look forward to the Class Reunion in September this year.
