Medical Center. After 6 months I was transfered to Walter Reed Army Hospital in D.C. I received my promotion to Sergeant, then a few months later was medically discharged. I now fight for the rights of Disabled Veterans. I'm a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chp. #10 of Atlantic City, NJ. A number of our members arranged for a new Veterans Park to be built in Somers Point across from the ballfields. We also visit different schools to talk to the students about our experiences from WWII to the Cold War. I was told by my surgeons to move to warmer weather for my osteoarthritis. Now, I've also volunteered for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, PNC Father/Son Challenge & especially Special Olympics!!!
