After RHS, I attended architecture school at NJIT and Cooper Union in NY, where I received my architecture degree. I currently hold licenses to practice Architecture in NY and California. For a time, after graduation and through school, I worked in construction management and architecture in the NY/NJ area and in 1989 began working for the Trump Organization in Atlantic City and then NY. In 1990, I was sent to California to manage the development of a 6 million sq ft mixed use project, but we were the subject of an eminent domain challenge, which took 12 years to resolve. During the long resolution of the legal matter, I managed our day to day business operations in California as well as the political relations, community relations, and legal team. Trump had left the project in 1998 and one of the remaining partners invited me to work with him in Europe after the settlement of the matter in 2001.
