Stephen Wawrzyniak (pronounced War-zan-ik) is Executive Director of G.R.A. Consultants LLC, a Professional Government and Regulatory Affairs Consulting firm. In his previous career he managed the Regulatory Affairs Department for the leading private label food manufacturer in the world, Doane Pet Care, later becoming a Sr. Manager of Regulatory Affairs for the Mars Pet Care U.S. R&D "New Innovations¿ Team. During his career he gained the recognition for professionalism and integrity of both industry and government officials.
Steve also has a proven record of success for leading a Technical Service Department responsible for Quality Control, Laboratory Services, Consumer Relations, and Research and Development for Doane Pet Care. As the Technical Services Department Vice President, he was recognized for building and leading a team of professionals whose members have become leaders in the corporation and within the pet food and feed industry.

ctive member serving on numerous PFI committees, such as States Relations (Chairman), International Trade, Public Relations, Nutrition, AAFCO, and Regulatory Affairs Committees. In addition he has served as PFI's liaison and adviser for the American Feed Control Officials Model Bill, Inspection and Sampling and States Relations Committees.
He has also served for a number of years as an Industry Adviser for the Missouri Department of Agriculture Plant Industries Division.
On a personal note Steve is a dedicated husband of 32 years, father of 4 and blessed with 9 wonderful Grandchildren. Steve served in the Army during the Viet Nam War. He then graduated from Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, MO were he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. He continues to be active in his community whether it serving in his church assisting the Red Cross, or, Baptist Disaster Relief, Community Free Clinic, International Mission Trips.
