Stephen "Skip"'s Story

Married 1975, Had (2) great kids who still live in the Auburn area. Divorced 1997, Re-married 2001. Had a kidney transplant in Oct. 1991. Still kicking & going strong with the original transplant. It's now Aug. 2012. Almost 21 years of extended life due to this procedure. Working everyday & traveling extensively. I would like to slow down sometime in the future and begin to enjoy life. I'm living in Colorado now. We moved out here right after 9/11. My job as a Fire Dept. Service Technician takes me across five states. Colorado, Wyoming & Montan...Expand for more
a, Utah & New Mexico. I service Life Safety Equipment for them. "I protect the firefighter who protects you". My wife & I were foster parents, taking care of kids in need for the County where we live. We have adopted two boys. They are now 17 & 20 years old. We averaged (1) new baby a year, plus the other kids that came in and out of our lives. Now living in Loveland, CO -- We have finally retired out of the foster care system in August of this year. (2012). Would love to hear from some of my old classmates...2014 - moved to Florida - same job.
