Anyone who knew me in high school knew I always wanted to be a police officer when I grew up. So much so, that most of the way through high school, I was in the boy scout explorer post at the police department. My family and friends thought that I could make a good police officer. n wanting to be a police officer. Then in 2003 I applied, tested, passed and began working for the State of Missouri, Department of Corrections. I spent over 4 years working in a maximum security prison in the administrative segregation unit (the hole). In 2008 I transfered to a minimum security drug treatment prison where I soon promoted to SGT.
