I left for Alaska on the first Friday after graduation and have been here almost ever since. Went to Edmonds C.C. for a year and a half and while visiting family in San Mateo at Christmas 1971 decided to move to Alaska and live here full time. In January 1973 I made the decision to quit colloge and go to work as a truck-driver and that's mostly what I've been doing ever since. I got married in 1975 and was divorced in 1981 in and remarried in 1983. In 1985 my first wife and I lost our son to an acccidental shooting and I still miss him. I was widowed in 2002 and spent a while learning to be comfortable in my own skin. I met and wonderful lady through mutual friends and we were married in 2004.
