Steve's Story
Life
My Pets
I have been lonely since the divorce so
when my assistant took in a pregnant
stray I agreed to two kittens, Max and
Sammy. Oddly when I hold them the
allergies seem to calm down, but I
sneeze and cough when they move. Glad I
have two, as I am not home much. Very
different personalities. Also much more
trainable than I expected from prior
limited experience with cats.
My Kids
My oldest made the OU marching band and
was in the Macy's parade this year !
This is a very athletic band. All three
of my kids were raised on piano lessons
and have done quite well with their
music. I was always jealous of those who
played an instrument but no...Expand for more
w I know
enough to be overwhelmed by the level of
accomplishment that exists at the high
school level! Do I remember that WG went
to the national marching band
championships in 1970 ? To think I never
even heard our band play.
My Job
A roller coaster. Not the stable
reliable income it had been for the
decades before I joined the noble
profession. Managed Care !!
Crashed and burned over the last five
years in an ill advised experimental
business effort between docs and the
management. Now I am having to resurrect
the practice with one partner, a little
better than I when I started up the
first time, wiser, but certainly not
where I expected.
