Steve's Story
Life
Five months after graduating from Harding I finished my coursework in Design Technology at St. Paul TVI and started working as a drafter. I knocked around that field for about five years, including a brief stint in Dubuque, Iowa working at John Deere.
After drafting got old I worked at a nameplate manufacturer in St. Paul for almost five years, working my way up to Quality Manager. I left the mechanical world to pursue my passion for computers.
Currently I'm employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer doing automated testing at Infinite Campus in Blaine, MN. In a nutshell, Automated Testing is programming a program to control and test another program. In my case it's mostly web applications and databases.

d I got married in 2000 after living together for a couple years. She told me about this website. We own a townhome in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Hobbies include woodworking, home improvement, and investing. I gave up playing the guitar around 1997 and drinking shortly after that. If anyone remembers the name, Bob Hagen (graduated 1989) and I had an apartment in West St. Paul back in '91. I don't know what's he's up to now. We haven't talked since 1995.
In all seasons except winter, I like to go camping. I bought 40 acres of raw land and have spent years building shelters, storage, and trails. I have a little collection of old machinery, from a 1938 farm tractor on down to an old Wards reel mower, that keeps the place up and keeps me busy fixing things.
