Life
After graduation I enlisted in the US Army and remained until May 01 when I finally retired after 27 years. My knees just couldn't take the pounding anymore! I spent over 20 as a US Army CID Special Agent investigating felony crimes. Managed to pick up my BA and MCJA and attended the FBI National Academy. I finally retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4) in 2001.. Had the chance to travel all over the world and across the US. I've had the chance to appear on America's Most Wanted, A Current Affair, and Forensic Files based on some of my cases.
After my military retirement I took a job with the Mississippi State Crime Lab as the Supervisor for the crime scene unit in Batesville MS, where I processed homicide and other violent crime scenes all over the state. I took a side job working as adjunct college instructor at University of Mississippi and for a couple of other professional training companies providing law en...Expand for more
forcement training across the US including at Henry C. Lee's Institute of Forensic Science in New Haven CT. I transferred to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) in 04 to start up their Cold Case Unit- working on unsolved homicides from across the State and giving a lot of training at the State Police Academy.
In 2008 I accepted a civilian position back with the US Army CID. I am now working at Ft Bragg, NC doing basically the same job I had when I was active duty. In 2012 I started writing text books related to criminal investigations these include: Death Investigations (1st and 2nd Ed) , Sex Crimes Investigation (1st and 2nd Ed) , and Crime Scene Staging, I've also written two self published novels. I've been an adjunct college instructor for over 20 years at several Universities and I still teach different investigative courses to police and detectives across the US. ) I have 3 boys and now with 11 grandkids.
