Steve's Story
My Story
I graduated from Santa Ana High school in 1969. I had a lot of fun in high school! I loved all the things that we got to do! I was always looking for the next exciting thing to do. When I was 21 my brother, Gary, took me to a little church that he was attending! At this point I heard the best news that I’ve ever heard! Let me tell you what I heard in Jesus’ own words! Jesus said you must be born again to go to heaven. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, nobody comes to the Father except through me. As many as receive Him, to them he gave the power to become the children of God, to all that believe on His name. The Bible says the wages of sin is death, But, the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. all of your sins, and after three days God raised him from the dead. Then Jesus says to repent and receive him, if you want to receive Jesus into your heart I will say a prayer with you, asking Jesus to come into your heart, to be your Lord and your Savior, and to forgive you for all of your sins! Pray this prayer from your heart; dear Jesus, please come into my heart, please forgive me for all of my sins, be my Lord, and my Savior, and guide my life. Holy Spirit, please fill me, and give me the power to live for you! I thank you, in Jesus name, amen
Jesus not only came in my heart and forgave me for all my sins, but he gave me a whole new life! That was a 1972 and I thank God every day for the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!
