Steve's Story
I spent 22 years living in Vacaville, in northern California, prior to moving to Troy, Ohio, in 1993. My wife Kim and I have two sons, Brian and Kevin and two daughters, Lauren and Emma. We currently have seven grandchildren who are living in Seattle, Austin and Birmingham.
Upon moving to Troy, we discovered, that there are many DeWeese's locally, some of the DeWeese families have been in this area since the 1800's. We have an annual DeWeese family reunion held at Troy park now in it's 130th year.

and currently work for Northrop Grumman in Beavercreek, Ohio, Our plan is for me to retire sometime next summer and move to a warmer climate.
I live out in the country on ten acres surrounded by trees and I enjoy the quiet it brings. Wildlife here is plentiful, life is simple and family and friends are foremost in our lives. Troy has a strong sense of community and is rich in cultural activities; providing year around events and activities for all. For me, it doesn't get much better than this. I appreciate the mid-west, it's people, heritage and the simple life it provides.
