Steve's Story
Life
For the last 27 yrs. I've worked as a therapist and social worker, supervising social workers with Children and Adult Protective services. I retired 2 1/2 yrs ago and my girlfriend, Nancy, and I sold our condos in Ventura in the last boom and bought a great home with 1 1/2 acres on a lake in Central Texas near my sister, Fran,and her family.We also have great supportive neighbors. g and writing(journalism, playwriting & poetry) for a few years and was an editor on a medical magazine for a year before going to social work. Graduated from UCLA & Cal. State U. Norhtridge with 2 B.A.'s and an M.A. I have gotten some poetry published and reviews on therapy books.I'm returning to write and maybe do acting as I'm in SAG.Those will be my next goals. I truly feel blessed and look forward to the next plateau in an active retirement.
