Steve's Story

Well I hung around El Toro for about a year after graduation then moved to Alaska and still here. I do go back from time to time to visit and see everything that has changed. Did a short stint in the navy then back here to get on with it. Still fixing most anything with an engine, but specialize in Diesel Power Generation. Travel extensively around Alaska mostly villages but have been overseas a few times as well. Still into motorcycles and have a 2001 Dyna Wide Glide. Rode to San Diego and back in 2000 (7800 miles in three weeks) and have gone into Canada a number of times since. I really like Dawson City Yukon. Not much time to stop anywhere on the California trip but did spend 3 days in Catalina with friend Caryn Burnham (Herrmann) who lives in Trabuco Canyon right above Holy Jim Canyon where a bunch of us went ...Expand for more
grad night instead of Disneyland. Never married (Still scares me a little) but have a big house on the hillside of South Anchorage and have roommates. Feel free to e-mail me. See Ya All at the 40th. Steve Update Retired 6-2018 I skipped the 40th I didn't feel like flying with covid and all and I hate the TSA. I have 2 beautiful dogs one is an English Springer Spaniel and the other one is a Karelian Bear Dog currently 1 and 1-1/2 years old and will probably both out live me. Still in the same house going on 39 years I love the place in the woods but close to the city. I recently found Doug Frost he is doing great and living in Las Vegas I just don't think I could take the heat anymore. Sold my Harley but I have a 50cc moped I use to cruise around the neighborhood on. I hope all of you are doing well Steve 2-19-2022
