Steve's Story
After graduating form Mt.St Joseph, I started to attend the University of Baltimore, but found that making money through work was more enticing.So I went to work for a Steel Company for a year, then got hired by then C&P Telephone who changed to Bell Atlantic, which changed to Verizon.During the next 36 years I went back and forth to college (UMBC, Essex, Electronics Schools). Never completed for my Degree but has some Certifications in Telecommunications.

in a treatment center for Alcohol and Drug addiction.To date I have never found it necessary again to take a drink or a drug and currently have 21 years of Sobriety.I was extremely active in softball and soccer the years thru 1988 and went to 16 consecutive World AA and AAA Slowpitch Softball Championships.In 1990 I was introduced to Golf and have played competitively for the last 10 years in Amateur Tournaments. I currently carry a 4.3 handicap.
I retired from Verizon on April 3,2009 after 36 years,6 months and 9 days.
