Steve's Story
Life
I joined the Army and was at basic training in August after graduation. I served in Germany and fought in the 1st Gulf War. I went back to the States, reenlisted, and went back to Germany after a year. I spent another 4 yrs in Germany with the Army and got married while I was there to a girl from Massachusetts who was also in the Army. I got out in 97 after 8yrs in and started college. ational Guard, currently getting ready to get promoted to Captain. My wife is a recruiter and we live in New Hampshire out in the country. I finally got my BS in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina this past December. I am currently working on my Masters at UNH in Durham NH. We have two kids, a boy who will be 11 in November and a little girl who turned 2 in March. It's been a long strange trip these last 16 yrs and I hope that all of you are in good places right now.
