Steve's Story
Hard to sum up 50 years in a paragraph.
After graduating from Reagan my parents moved to Richardson and I moved to Denton to attend North Texas State University. I met my wife, Debby, in sophomore English class. She caught my eye by wearing the shortest skirts and dresses I had ever seen. It was love at first sight and she still holds my attention after almost 50 years together.
We have two wonderful children, Rachel and Sam, two great in-laws Rachel's husband Josh and Sam's wife Kellie, and two sparkling eyed grand children Evelyn 8 and Daniel 3.

ool and Sam was an ice hockey goalie during his junior high and high school years. When the kids graduated from high school they left Belton where we lived in a house built in 1925 at the corner of 8th and Main St from 1982 t0 2017. After college, the kids took jobs in Houston. Debby and I followed them to Houston in 2017 when we retired. Debby has not completely retired. She has a job teaching speech and debate 2 week summer camps at various college campuses across the country. During COVID she began teaching on line classes. She uses her extra money to finance our trips together and her cruise habit.
