Steve's Story
Life
Hello everyone. I do the best I can to keep in my space. I seem to be easy to find there. I don't stray to far anymore. Not much new with me over these years. I've gotten older, grayer and *sigh* larger. I married Susan Warren(class of 75) in 1994 and are now separated. Her children have, in a sense, become mine and I love them very much. I enjoy many things, but, mostly long drives and the smell of the coast.
I quit drinking and drugging almost 20 years ago and quit smoking nearly 7 years ago.
I enjoy my life with all of it's twists and curve balls. I don't think I would change much.
Look for me on my space as a Warrenton Alumni. BE WELL.
School
School, interesting memories both pleasant and unpleasant. I certainly have more regrets in how I treated people than how I was treated. There are a some specific people to whom I definetely owe amends. Maybe we'll cross paths ...Expand for more
someday. There are some whom I owe much gratitude especially those who treated me well despite my less than lack luster attitudes.
All in all, I don't think I would want to do school again, but, if I did I would certainly do it different.
Workplace
Well, I drank up The Club around 1985(went to treatment and got sober, but, not before the damage was done). Currently, I work for the North West Senior and Disabilities Services. My current duties are Adult Protective Services investigations. Immediately prior, I worked for the state nearly 7 years performing similar duties. Our state agency was just(2/1/05) privatized to Council of Governments. Prior to that I was a chemical dependency counselor for 8 years(during which I was a program director for 3 years).
I had a few other jobs in there, but, my current work and chemical dependency counseling are and have been the most fulfilling to me.
