Steve's Story
It seems only yesterday that it was the early 70's and the future seemed so uncertain. What would happen in Southeast Asia, would we be vacationing on the moon by the end of the 20th Century, as in 2001, A Space Odyssey. I was going to be a lawyer and save the world.
Well life is never boring and while my original plans were altered, events have been interesting. For most of the last 30 years I have worked in the technical sector. In the 21st century, I am working from home doing technical support for a travel and expense company and have started a tax preparation service. I spent almost 20 years delivering mail, but as the USPS now seems to be a package delivery service, I decided to retire.
My wife and I live in Inver Grove Heights, my three children have all finished college, my son is a police officer, my oldest daughter works as a surgical technician, and my youngest daughter just graduated graduate school. I have two grandsons.
