Steve's Story
Life
After graduation I attended Lamar University in Beaumont where I received a BSEE. Went to work for NASA after graduating from college and I've been at the Johnson Space Center in Houston ever since.

stationed in the Russian Mission Control Center during the actual flight. I have also worked in Houston Mission Control during the Skylab and Space Shuttle programs.
I live in Friendswood, TX, am married, have two children (boy and a girl, both now grown) and 5 grandchildren.
I retired from NASA in 2009 after 40 years there.
