Steve's Story
The story in just a few sentences:
I now live in Manhattan Beach, CA with my long term partner, Tim. We were legally married in September, but after Prop 8, we're now legally in limbo! I have acorporate job but my heart is in my novel, which is complete but I dare not share it yet!
We lived in Atlanta for 10+ years before moving here. In the city too busy to hate, I ran several marathons, mutiple half and 10ks, and started my novel. Prior to the ATL, there was a brief 3 year stint in Charlotte ...Expand for more
(too Mayberryish) and before that, the Big Apple and then New Haven in ancient history.
I love travel and have been to 49 of the 50 states (I have several friends from ND who say there is no real rush to get there), and most continents except Oz. Now that I am on the west coast, it's on the list for next year.
I am embarrassed to think I was conservative in high school. I have been proudly liberal for years, and have done a lot of volunteer work with homeless and substance abusers over the years.
